This past weekend was a long and hot one (the best and rarest kind).
On Friday night we went out to bid farewell to our dear friend Katrina, which you'll hear more about later.
Saturday was spent with my parents and my brother's family out at Carburn Park for a picnic and some fishing. Sun, smuggled beer and BBQ hot dogs...is there a better way to spend a Saturday?

Sunday we were lucky enough to see our dear friends Trevor and Lindsay tie the knot out in DeWinton.
And to round out the weekend, we get to dogsit this little Mogwai (AKA Sally).
Sometimes I forget how nice it is to stay in the city for a long weekend. Roads, restauraunts and parks are a little less busy and you can take advantage of some really great spots.
